More People Playing Croquet and Bowls in More Places.

Our policy is to achieve this by welcoming into our sports, any who wish to benefit from playing croquet and bowls , by respecting the rights and dignity of all participants, including visitors, and by considering the individual needs of all, in support of their personal safety , welfare, and wellbeing.

Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone and it is dependent on all members becoming increasingly aware of the circumstances that can cause harm, and in particular when children and vulnerable adults are involved.

In all situations, both online and in person, members are expected to adhere to the rules of the Club, and to act in a reasonable and courteous manner. Negative, inappropriate or offensive behaviour of any kind is unacceptable.

The Club has a designated Safeguarding Officer, who works to provide a safe space , following best practice in safeguarding ………recognising , recording and responding . Supported by National Safeguarding Officers, concerns may, when appropriate, be reported to police, other statutory authorities and support services.

Any concerns should be addressed in the first instance to the Safeguarding Officer. Contact details are available through the website.
